Back in Music City

Joan just picked me up at the airport and I am finally home. Great news - United found my bags (during the ten hour layover) and they were waiting for me when I hit the ground. Thanks for praying for them to be found. Joan sure has done a great job while I have been away. Can't wait to see the team tomorrow at the office. Proud of everyone - it is great having a wonderful team working with you - side by side - doing the work of the evangelist. Check back in later in the week to the onthego.org site and take a look at the photos. I even have a few recording for the podcasts.

Again - thank you for going on this mission with us. Next international mission will be in March - to the Caribbean.

One Tired Evangelist

After a 10 hour layover - two cancelled flights we are finally going to be leaving Chicago for Nashville. I have had fun eating chips and salsa - American junk food - video chatting with Joan - and Charlie - Jimmy Earle in Ireland even skyped me and said hello. I should be back in Nashville around midnight if they don't cancel this one too. Pray for me - they have lost both my bags and my good preaching Bible was inside - plus all my materials, notes, and clothes. Just like the Devil to try to rob my joy - but I am going to see Joan tonight either via the Air or Rental Car. Will update one last time when I am actually home and the photos should be up on the onthego.org site by Tuesday. Thanks all for praying and helping us do this project. God really blessed the effort.

In Germany Safe & Sound

Made it half way back to the USA without a problem. I am flying Lufthansa and they have the worlds worst seats on airplanes. We have gotten spoiled flying KLM and BA. They have fantastic entertainment systems and KLM even has power outlets right in the seat. But - thanks to my trusty iPod and iPhone - I have been well entertained. Flying 10 hours with crying children all around you and no way to really sit comfortably is not my idea of fun but I am getting closer to seeing Joan and getting home.

I am so honored that God allowed me to be in India and do the work of the evangelist. Every day I realize how special this call is - to be an evangelist. Many say they want to serve God and reach the lost but I actually get to go do it. Wow, God is so good and so faithful. I wish everyone could experience the day by day battles, provision, strength, and direction that comes to us as we go out ministering in real evangelism. Seeing hundreds come to Christ - working as a team - praying, preaching, sharing, teaching. It is really fun and exciting.

Well my time is running out. I look forward to seeing many of you this week at the Springfield Festival Meeting, and our On The Go Board Meeting. Keep praying for us. We have just begun to see what all God has for us to do in India, Pakistan, and all over the world.

Hundreds Come To Know Christ in Friday Night Festival

Keith preached to a crowd of over 1200 hundred people on Friday Night and there were over 200  public decisions for Christ!  The spiritual warfare has been great, but we thank God that He is greater!

Please pray for the youth conference to be held on Saturday and pray for Keith and the team as they share with the young men and women about how to share their faith and grow in Christ.

Also, Pray for Keith as he leaves for home on Saturday Night (Saturday afternoon our time) and arrives in Nashville Sunday Night!

Many decisions on first night of Festival

The first night of the Festival went great!  Over 250 decisions were made, as 150 adults and 125 young people made a commitment to follow Christ.  Also, there were 2 ladies that the Lord healed from sight and hearing problems!

Please continue to pray for Keith and the team as they minister.  Pray that Keith will preach the word with power on Friday Night and that many people will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Hyderabad Meetings

Monday and Tuesday, Keith met with the leaders of many different denominations (Joyce Meyer Ministries, Youth With A Mission, Baptist, Methodist, Charismatic, etc) in the city of Hyderabad concerning a 2009 Festival.  The meetings were very successful as everyone was in hearty agreement on the planning and structuring of a February 2009 festival.

An On The Go youth festival, which will incorporate young people from all across the Hyderabad area,  was also planned for October 2008.

Please continue to pray for Keith as he will be speaking at a pastor's conference on Wednesday in the city of Vellore.

Pray for Meetings in Hyderabad

Sunday morning Keith preached at two different churches in Vellore.  He said there were many decisions at both.

On Monday, Keith will be traveling to the city of Hyderabad to meet with leaders about a future festival.  Please be in prayer for him as he travels and also that the meetings will be beneficial and fruitful.  Keith will be back in Vellore on Tuesday Night to begin to get ready for the Pastor's Conference that will be held on Wednesday.

2 more Nights of Satellite Festivals

I just spoke with Keith and since the internet is almost non-existent there, he asked me to write the update.

Saturday, Keith went to an executive meeting about the main Vellore City Festival which is next week.  He had the opportunity to speak to the leaders about expanding their vision.  He also spoke to them about working together in unity.  He said that the meeting went very well.

Please pray for the details of the festival.  They are planning on bringing people on 50 buses each evening from different parts of the city to attend.  Please pray for attendance, good weather, decisions,  safety and health of the team.

Also, pray for Keith as he speaks at two different churches on Sunday morning.

Harvest Has Begun

Each of the eight evangelists here have been having great success in working around the area. Decisions have ranged from 50 to 500 at each festival. The crowds have been ranging from 1000 to 5000 people. I am so proud of all the teams. God is blessing and there is great unity and love. Pray for all of us tonight as we all go out and do our part in reaching this area for Christ.

I am feeling great being used of God to make a difference on this mission. Thank you for praying for me and each of the missions. The weather is windy but no rain. Pray for our major Festival next week. There are many major decisions that have to be made to make this Festival have a major impact and we are asking God to give us wisdom. Pray for me in the morning as I, along with others will be sharing our heart with the executive committee.

So - pray for decisions at each outreach - pray for unity on the teams - compassion and love for the nationals and USA workers - wisdom and blessings.

Project Going Great

Arrived in India just fine and was greeted by an Indian local evangelist who took me to my hotel. I was great hearing his story. How he was saved, called into evangelism and doing God's work. Inspired me.

After a good nights sleep - we moved down the road to Vellore. The 2 and a half hour drive was - thankfully - uneventful. My home for the next two weeks is a basic Indian hotel. Nothing fancy but safe and clean. No intenet - so I am doing all my reports via the local intenet cafe. Have meet several of the team members and we are all excited to be working together for Christ.

Pray for all of the evangelists as they go out tonight. Pray for decisions and safety.

Joan is feeling better and things at home seem to running smooth without me. Praying for everyone. When you have few people speaking your language you have time to catch up on your prayer life. So I am praying for everyone in my address book and all my friends.

The weather is great - windy but not too hot. Praise the Lord we have hot water.

I love being a real evangelist. Doing the work of the evangelist is what I am called to do. Across the street and around the world.

Please Pray For Joan, Megan, West Tennessee

I had to board the plane in Nashville with Joan not feeling well. She has found out she is sick. She is running a fever. Please pray for her to be well and to be healed.

She has so much on her when the team is on the road. I personally would rather she was with me!!  I miss her already. Friends and family is taking care of her. My mother went out and picked up some medicine and Tamara is keeping an eye on her. (thank you so much) Also pray for Megan (Keith Jr's wife) she is recovering from a flue - bug - and sickness.

Also pray for west Tennessee - just heard - read on internet - that tornadoes touched down and destroyed many homes and businesses. We are holding festivals in that part of the state in the fall and next year and David Brandon and I went to school in that area. We want God to protect and help all those affected by this disaster.

India - Feb. 5-17

Pray for Local Indian Leaders

Final arrangements are now underway in 9 areas around Vellore. Pray for success, safety, and favor.

Preparing For India Project

We are quickly getting prepared for our upcoming project to the Vellore, India area. There are over 4.2 million people in our target area of ministry.  Pray for the funds still needed to go and for all the work being done on our behalf by the local believers.

I will be directing 9 area-wide festivals and outreaches for the Next Generation Alliance. My good friend, Tim Robnett, has invited me to assist several young and emerging evangelists with their festivals and events. These great and exciting ministers are ready and able to do the work of the evangelist and I am excited to be able to help them maximize their efforts. I also will be traveling to a future festival site to help set up a major event for 2009. My time in India will also include speaking in leadership conferences, youth rallies, churches, and in the Main Festival in Vellore.
